1411 tigers that's all we have got.We really need to be more aware of the probllem. And govt officials need to stop taking the bribes and be strict against the poachers. Otherwise soon we will not even have our national animal.And that's the big shame on all of us.

If govt. can't stop the kiliing then tiger's counting can go low and low. With strick action it can be stop otherwise we will only see the tigers in Zoo only.

the biggest problem is china encouraging poaching in India, chinese use tiger's body for some sort of medicines :( And they make the deals through the poor people near and in sundarbans ::(
India has tighten up actions else we might say one day, India national animal is tiger and long long ago they were hunted down

its not just now china are doing this, its been happening for years and now it has become a big issue, chinese govt. doesn't co-operate with Indian govt. in tackling the poachers and our ministers are breaking their heads, not sure if its because they are not getting bribe or real love towards the poor creature
